For the fall season Benny Gold presents a small range of headwear which introduce new graphics. The season brings us two new fitted hats, which available in two colorways, a snapback cap with mesh paneling, also available in two color options, and three different colored beanies. Although the new series of Benny Gold Doughboy Fitted Hats are the talked about item in the form of headwear from Benny Gold this season we cant deny that we are defiantly feeling these new beanies Benny has released. The beanies keep things real simple and sort of “hood” with an all black design simply accented with a gold Benny Gold paper airplane logo. If your not into the puffy balls found on the top of a lot of beanies these days this Benny Gold beanie is defiantly a nice alternative.

The long awaited Benny Gold x New Era ‘Doughboy V2′ 59Fifty fitted hats are now available at select Benny Gold retailers such as Hall of Fame in Fairfax. When Benny released the first version of the Doughboy New Era the caps instantly sold out at retailers across the nation so you can best believe the second edition of the Doughboy will be just as much a top seller. Besides a slight design difference on the underbrim Benny and New Era put together a third colorway for round two of the Doughboy, a green/yellow colorway.

This coming Fall season Benny Gold will be introducing a few new versions of the popular Doughboy New Era Fitted Hat. The three new color choices also feature a new buffalo plaid liner that mirrors the flight patterns of a paper airplane. The black Doughboy fitted hat is satin lined, and the khaki version is made from the same material as Dickies work pants. Look for all three to these new Benny Gold x New Era ‘Doughboy’ Fitted Hats to drop at select Benny Gold retailers this Fall.

Last week we gave you a look at the Benny Gold 5-Panel Camps Hats. If your not into the whole 5-panel thing and are more of a New Era 59Fifty person dont worry cause Benny has a lineup of New Eras set to release as part of his Fall 2009 Collection. Shown here is a preview of an upcoming fitted which Benny Gold has been working on. The preview only gives us a look at the underbrim and part of the inner lining but Benny reports that the hats are a new version of a hat that has been long gone, a hat which he gets requests all the time from people trying to track one down. Could this possibly be a followup to the Doughboy Fitted Hat?

Recently posted on the blog of Benny Gold was this news clip containing an interview with Steve Breaston of the Arizona Cardinals. As you can see from the screenshot of the video Breaston is seen sporting one of the very popular Benny Gold x New Era ‘Doughboy’ Fitted Hats. If you missed out on this release, which is inspired from the Detroit fitted hat Ice Cube wore in the Boyz N The Hood movie when he played the character Doughboy, then you missed a good one. Hat Junkies are scrambling like crazy to find Doughboy fitted hats in their sizes but sadly retailers everywhere are selling them just as fast as they come in.

The Benny Gold Doughboy New Era Fitted Hat recently just hit retailers but already Benny is giving us a little preview of what hes working on for 2009. Along with many of the products Benny Gold will be releasing in the new year, which includes a collaboration on a mountain bike, is a new Paper Plane Flight 59Fifty Fitted Hat. As you can see by the preview on the far left the new Benny Gold fitted hat will be black and include the popular signature paper plane flight design in red.

No word on an official release date yet for this new Benny Gold New Era fitted hat so stay tuned for further updates.

The long overdue online shop for Benny Gold is now officially online. For a long time people like myself have been heckling Benny telling him he needs to get an online shop up and running for the fans of his. Extra quantities were usually always produced when it came to products, with an intention of putting the stuff in an online shop. Since there were some setbacks here and there and the shop never got finished Benny always ended up offering the extra products to distributors. The time when Benny has to find distributors to take on extra stock is finally over with the newly developed online store. Its a work in progress which currently only has a hand full of products available. Benny is however going to talk to people he has worked with and designed for to see if they will let him offer the products he designed for them in his shop as well. This is big news for Benny Gold fans like myself so make sure you check out the new online shop now.

As part of his Fall/Winter 2008 Collection Benny Gold designed these New Era 59Fifty fitted hats which are inspired by a character in the Boyz N The Hood movie from 1991. Ice Cube who started in the movie played a character by the name of Doughboy and throughout the movie you could spot him wearing a Detroit cap with an Old English style D embroidered on the front. Benny Gold took the idea of the hat and the Ol’ English styled D and transformed it into a “B” to fit the Benny Gold brand. Also included into the design is the paper airplane design Benny Gold has made famous as well as a argyle underbrim and liner and Benny Gold embroidered across the back of the crown.  The Benny Gold “Doughboy” New Era 59Fifty fitted is currently on its way to BG retailers across the country so hit em up to cop one of these fitteds before they are gone.
