To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Bob Marley's death, Billabong teamed up with the Bob Marley Foundation on a capsule location honoring the legendary reggae artist. Among the t-shirts, shorts and accessories included in the collection is this New Era 59Fifty fitted hat. Estate LA ’909′ Fitted Hat

A few days ago we took a look at the Estate LA xxxx releasing in March ’09 and now the group has given us a preview at another upcoming fitted hat. Here we take a look at a cap which has so far been dubbed ’909′ on the Estate LA blog. The black cap appears to have an old english ‘E’ embroidered on the front with a bandanna design in red and black on the underbrim and liner. For those who dont know 909 is the area code of Los Angeles County, where Estate LA calls home.
No release has been mentioned at this time so stay tuned for further details and more pictures.
Major Threat x U-God x New Era 59Fifty Fitted Hat

Major Threat and U-God from the legendary Wu-Tang Clan have gotten together to collaborate on a design for a New Era fitted hat. The design of the cap includes the U-God ‘U’ logo on the front of the fitted in gold with ‘God’ offset inside the logo in black. Also embroidered in gold is the Major Threat logo on the back of the New Era 59Fifty. The exact release date is not available at this time but keep an eye out for the Major Threat x U-God New Era Fitted Hats to hit only a handful of retailers in the States and Japan. ECapCity will be one of those few distributors, which will also have the limited edition t-shit designed to release alongside the hat.

Estate LA Spring ’09 Fitted Hat Preview

Estate LA releases a preview of a new fitted hat they have been working on for the Spring of 2009. Shown here are 2 fitted hats which use 2-tone colorways with an embroidered ‘E’ on the front of the crown. The crown is down in a solid color, either blue or white and the E is done in the same color as the brim.

Fresh for the new year, Kicks/Hi releases the ‘Koi’ 5-Panel Cap. Designed with a Kicks/Hi tag on the front panel and designs of Koi fish throughout the 5-panel cap is set to release this coming Saturday on January 10th.
Elm Company Designer Music Series Pt 2

Elm Company presents a preview of their next fitted hat to drop in their limited edition line knows as the “Designer Music” series. The Designer Music line is a collaboration between Elm Company and designer Kevin Sanchez which pays homage to some of hip-hops greatest artists which paved the way for music today. The first cap in the series was designed after the Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff with a quote from the song of “Summertime” embroidered onto the underbrim of the fitted hat.
The 2nd cap in the series which is shown here seems to be a pretty interesting design with what would appear to be an X on the front of the crown. At this time we dont know much about the hat as far as who its designed after or when it will officially release so make sure you stay tuned for further updates.
Upper Playground x New Era 59Fifty January ’09 Releases

As a new month rolls around so do some brand new Upper Playground New Era 59Fifty Fitted Hats. This month UP offers us 3 new designs, one of which comes in 3 different colorschemes. The one which comes in 3 colorways would obviously be the above design, the 510-415 Bridge with the Upper Playground Walrus in the center. Pictured after the jump is a new design from Jeremy Fish known as the “Emblem” which includes a Jeremy Fishal shield type design with wings on the front and lastly a design from Sam Flores dubbed “Copper” displaying a tagger tagging up the side of a cop car parked onto of his head.
