New Era is proud to announce them have inked a deal with the NFL turning them into the official headwear manufactuer for the league. The five year deal will begin in April 2010 and end in March 2017, which between that time New Era will have exclusive distribution rights and branding for all on-field, sideline and locker room caps, as well as co-exclusive rights for fan headwear worldwide. New Era will have the rights to manufacture headwear with all 32 NFL team logos along with hats for marquee events, including the NFL Draft Day Caps and the Super Bowl Caps. The brand will also have co-exclusive U.S. rights for women’s apparel.

Last week the Baltimore Orioles unveiled their newly designed team logo and jerseys which the team will begin to wear during the 2009 MLB season. Shown above is the new logo pictured next to their old logo, and as you can see theres not to much of a difference. A few alternations here and there but for the most part they just cleaned it up a bit and changed the stance of the Oriole. A few changes were made to the home and alternate uniforms but the biggest redesign has to be on the away uniforms which will finally have the addition of “Baltimore” printed across the front. This will be the first time in 36 years that the Orioles jerseys which carry the name of their home town on the uniforms, defiantly something to mark down in the history books for all you Orioles fans out there. You know New Era already has you covered too, as the new on the field 59Fifty Hats are already in stock at retailers with the designed Oriole on the front of the crown. These pictures of a New Era Nissan Sentra surfaced online a couple months ago but just incase you never saw it here they are again. The owner, who is unknown at this time, is a Buffalo, NY resident who has covered his/her whole car front to back in New Era stickers. I cant imagine the owner being some big wig at New Era due to the fact its an old Nissan Sentra, maybe possibly somebody who works in the mail room, or just another one of us many Hat Junkies. I personally cant say i would want to drive this bad boy around but this is pure dedication. Maybe not in the greatest of qualities but hey you gotta work with what your given.
