New Era has defiantly been on the verge to expand their brand to much more then just fitted hats. They have introduced the EK Series, a collection of apparel and tons of new accessories. One of their latest releases into the whole apparel/accessory line are these new belts. The New Era belts have been introduced in four different styles in a variety of colorways which include the world famous New Era flag logo or the iconic 59Fifty sticker logo as a buckle. Adding to their arsenal of fitted hats Kidrobot introduces the New Era ‘Nutter’ 59Fifty featuring artwork designed by artist Kronk. The fitted cap is made from grey brushed back fleece featuring embroidered Nutter applique on the front, embroidered Kronk logo on the right side, embroidered bandage on the brim, and an embroidered Kidrobot logo on the back.

Adding to their lineup of products to product, store and transport your fitted hats New Era presents the Cap Storage System. This four tier system, which can attach as a standing unit or a hanging unit, allows you to store up to 20 caps. In the recently released New Era Book 2009 displayed on one of the pages was this New Era LED Hat Light. Since we are unable to read Japanese we arent quite sure what the text says but as you can see the contraption consists 5 small LED lights on a New Era branding base which has two clips allowing you to clip the unit onto your brim. Now this is something i find pretty interesting, specially since it dates back to the early days of New Era. Shown above are original New Era wooden sizing blocks. These are what New Era use to use to size up the fitted caps before the blocking machine was created. The wooden blocks themselves date back to the early 1920s. I would love to have a few of these sitting around as just something to place my cap on when i walk in the door or as pieces to display certain caps.

While doing my daily browsing on Ebay for fitted hats i came across this somewhat rare NY Yankees New Era hat. Now, before you get it twisted, this is NOT an official New Era design, its an official New Era hat just not a design they released themselves. The New Era Yankees hat is from a shop in Washington Heights, NY. The Washington Heights area of NYC is loaded with NY Yankees fan and down there theres a shop which pretty much customizes Yankees hats to included various designs or fabrics, one of them being this Yankees hat designed with Louis Vuitton fabric. You dont see these caps for sale online all to often and the only place i know of them being big is in NYC and Washington Heights.

The hat is currently up for auction on Ebay with a current price of $90.08 (USD). They seller is located in Australia and currently there are 17bids on the hat with just over 2 days left in the auction. This coming Saturday, on December 13th, BBC will release a new New Era fitted hat which will be exculsive to the Billionaire Boys Club flagship location in NYC. The hat will include a solid red crown and brim with white embroidery on the front panels. The BBC logo which you would normally find on the front has been replaced with NYC. In the past BBC has released a few color variations of this NYC exculsive hat but this new red and white colorway is the newest to be added. As we said the cap will be exculsive to the BBC Flagship location in NYC and im sure it goes without saying that these will sell out quickly. Get down there early if you plan on copping one.
